I always loved looking at typical newborn photos! You know, the ones where the babies are posed in the cute little wraps and such. Those little lips get me every time! I knew I wanted to photograph little babies in my photography journey, but I didn't expect to love lifestyle newborn sessions as much as I do! These sessions focus on capturing real, genuine moments with a family and their new little one, and seeing them makes my heart leap! I love the feeling of peeking in on a moment that families can keep forever.

The Sanders Family has become one of my favorite families to photograph! They have allowed me to be a part of many moments along their journey to a growing family, and each session is better than the last. Most newborn sessions are done within the first two weeks of the baby being born, but Jax was a special exception. He was born 9 weeks early and had to stay in the NICU for the first couple of months of his life. We got to capture the moments during his NICU Graduation and I thought Bryan and Kassie would run out of there with their baby boy the moment they said he was free to go! Finally, after many long days and weeks for the Sanders Family, they got to enjoy their sweet little one at home!

These moments are always special for a new family, but were even more special for this family. Through a couple of outfit changes, a blowout on mom (I'll spare you those photos), and so many sweet snuggles, Jax's photos came out great! I'm excited to share them!
