It was so good to see the Aggarwal family again… and this time in their Texas home! We got together to celebrate their newest baby's arrival. I couldn't wait to meet Naina! Nimisha and Manik are truly some of the sweetest people (and best parents) I know. I've done several sessions with this family and it never gets old. Their joy and laughter is contagious and you can tell they just adore their children. Naina's lifestyle newborn session at home was the best way to celebrate her arrival! 

Lifestyle Newborn Session

I love lifestyle newborn sessions. There's something so calm and relaxing about taking your baby's photos at home. Not only is it less stressful, but it's super natural. This is the place you spend time together as a family and where you brought your sweet baby home. I always enjoy the chance to see my clients' homes and capturing them somewhere that's comfortable and familiar to them. It's especially helpful with kids! Although we had to bribe Manav with lots of chocolate, we had a super time celebrating his new baby sister! It was pretty funny – when Manav wasn't being photographed, he loved listening to the lawn mower we could hear outdoors!

We split their lifestyle session into two settings: Nimisha and Manik's room and Naina's nursery. I loved the chance to capture the sweet details they so carefully picked for their baby girl in her room. It's always so special to know that these portraits will be looked back on one day as some of the earliest memories with their little girl.
