On my most recent trip to Phoenix, Arizona, I captured two sets of mini sessions. The first was at Papago Park. The others? These dreamy Usery Park fall minis!! Usery Park is one of my favorite places to photograph families in Arizona. It's just gorgeous! With tall cacti and stunning views, it feels as Arizona as you can get… which is just what I want! I love the feeling of these desert family photos – and I hope you do, too!

Usery Park Fall Minis

This year, I had a few families come to meet me at Usery Park for their portraits. As usual, they rocked their outfit sand all of the kiddos that were with them were amazing! We had a ton of fun and I had such a hard time narrowing down images to share with you. When your clients are amazing, picking just a few images is SO hard! Thank you to all of the families that came out to make these Usery Park fall minis such a success!

There's a huge misconception that with mini sessions, clients don't get a lot of variety in images. But, I want to tell you that's a lie! Even in short windows of time, a family can get a variety of images – without a ton of work or stress. Simple poses that are easy to use are definitely the key. It's also important to follow the family's lead and make sure you do a variety of groupings. Before you know it, the mini session is over and there's a TON of great images for that family's final gallery! Mini sessions are definitely a win-win for both families and photographers, especially during the fall and holiday seasons!
