I can't tell you how excited I am to finally be sharing the Kurt family's McKinney maternity session and family portraits! Beyond the fact that these three showed up looking like models, they were just seriously amazing to work with. We had a freezing cold day – but you'd never know looking at their portraits. With gorgeous light, the perfect location, and incredible outfits, I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful session to capture.

McKinney Maternity Session

I met up with Alisha, her husband and daughter to celebrate their family growing by one more. Their maternity portraits really focused on their relationships with each other – including her daughter's relationship with her new sibling. It's always SO special to watch how families are and how big siblings are about new babies coming… and Alisha's family was no different. Every moment of this maternity session was better than the last. Despite the chilly weather, everyone was a trooper and we captured some really beautiful moments between these three. I can't wait for them to become a family of four!! What an exciting time for them. 

Alisha, you are GLOWING! I wish I looked that beautiful pregnant, ha!!! Capturing Alisha with her daughter, and with her husband, was so much fun. And can we actually talk about those outfits?! I mean, she looked AMAZING in her pink maternity gown and her little girl looked just perfect in her holiday dress, too. Wait until you see the details on the back of that little dress! Unbelievable. I love how the girls looked with Alisha's husband and with the golden light behind them, it was seriously “picture perfect”.
