This McKinney extended family session is SO special to me. Stephanie is a local photographer here and she reached out to me about family photos in one of my favorite neighborhoods. I'm still flattered that she asked ME to photograph her family. Every family session is special, but being trusted with another photographer's memories is even more special.

Extended family sessions are always a great time. And they're the perfect way to make sure your family photos include everyone – even if they don't live with you anymore! The Kingston family was so much fun. Despite the chill in the air, everyone was in great spirits and up for anything. I bet having a photographer as a mom probably helped!! It definitely helped them pick the perfect coordinating outfits, too. Stephanie, your eye is spot on! I just love the navy colors your family chose. They're perfect for winter!

I just love this spot in McKinney – and we get the most gorgeous light here! We worked quickly to gather a variety of images for Stephanie and her family. I love taking the time to break down a family into multiple combinations and making sure we capture the kids with their parents, not to mention that cute little guy with his grandparents. He just LOVES Stephanie and I wanted to be sure she had lots of great photos of them together.
