Something I love most about being an educator is connecting with some of my students! If you are in my Behind The Lens membership, Lesly's family session was featured this month! Daniel and I had the opportunity to fly out to DC for an overnight trip to shoot Lesly's sweet family in the summer of 2021! We had so much fun with the Salazar family and I can't wait to share this Washington, DC family session with you!

Washington, DC Family Session

Fun fact: Daniel and I met in Washington, DC so this trip was extra special for us because we got to go back to where we first met! That made this session that much more fun!

We started at Lincoln Memorial, then went to the War Memorial and ended at the Jefferson Memorial. Washington, DC is a city of history among other things and these memorials were STUNNING. Not to mention, the Salazar family chose the PERFECT outfits! The memorials were so light and the family was dressed in white, pink and blue. It may have been warm, but the photos remind me of Spring! We had such a blast with the Salazar's in Washington, DC! We definitely walked, A TON but it was SO worth it! This may be one of my favorite sessions from 2021.
