This family portrait was STUNNING! When Southwest Airlines was having their 50th anniversary sale last year, I blasted on social media that if students or clients purchased my (and Daniels) plane tickets and an Air BNB, we'd come out and shoot a family session for them FOR FREE and it would be featured on Behind the Lens! I never thought about all the wonderful places I'd get to travel, but this might be one of my favorites! This location was INCREDIBLE and I can't wait to share this fall family portrait session with you!

Fall Family Portrait Session | The Burchett Family | Richmond, VA

I got the opportunity to shoot the Burchett's family session in September of 2021! Nicole is actually one of my students, so I was thrilled to be featuring them on behind the lens! I love when I get to share with other students! We mostly took photos along James River in Richmond, Virginia. How BEAUTIFUL was this location? It was SO green and so calm! Daniel and I had so much fun with the Burchett family! Their three kids were SO sweet and they loved giving hugs. They also LOVED one another. As you can see, the two older kids LOVE their baby brother and were excited to get to hold his hand while he was standing! We got all our usual shots for a family portrait session and ended by getting some sweet shots of just mom and dad and some shots of the two older kids throwing pebbles in the river.
