My “specialty” so to speak is mini sessions, which means I do stacked back-to-back minis for 2-3 hours in a single day. That means late clients would throw off every other session! Are you curious why my minis clients are NEVER late? Good, because today I’m peeling back the curtain to reveal my mini-sessions tips! Here are some key factors as to why my minis clients are never late.
Set Expectations Early
I’ve always wanted to set out to be an excellent communicator with excellent client experience. How do I do this? I use my Final Info Email to set up expectations. Inside that email I let them know they cannot be late. There are no exceptions or wiggle room. Inside the email it also includes parking information and communicates to show up early! By taking away the option to arrive a few minutes behind schedule you’re left with clients that are never late!
Prepare Clients for Success
I want to give clients as many resources in order for them to have a successful mini session day with me! One of the things that plays a key role is my Client Experience Guide. There are practical topics like a styling guide, parent tips, preparation, etc. Through the guide everything is thoroughly communicated which all lends to a smooth experience. People like to know what to expect. By using positive communication, clients are well taken care of and can reciprocate before, during and after the session!
