From Argentina to Texas, this student spotlight is remarkable! She's a mama of identical twins and a daughter. After years in dentistry she made the move to photography because of her sweet kids. Her why is beautiful – it's for family! She has a desire to connect with other US photographers, so what a perfect reason to feature her as our Student Spotlight! I'm pleased to introduce you to Angie Perisse of Angie Perisse Photography!
Tell me a little about your photography business!
My photography is mainly focused on kids in nature and with animals. We live on a farm, so I'm passionate about horses and farm animals. I want to focus my photography on equine photography. I've mentored photographers in Latin America, but stopped to learn a new country and language.
At the end of 2022, I started my photography business here in Vernon, Texas, with clients. That is why I signed up for the Rebecca Rice Mini Sessions Class. It's a new journey with a lot to learn! You can do beautiful photography but it takes work to sell it. You need to connect to your ideal client, and do marketing and automatization. So I'm learning!
What started your photography journey?
I started my journey as a photographer in 2016. Trying to discover the magic in the ordinary through my lens. While capturing the everyday of my kids and reconnecting with my own childhood.
What is your favorite thing about running a photography business?
Capturing those moments of joy and connection in a family. And playing a part to decorate their houses. I want them to remember those moments everyday. I know it will be priceless in the next years.
What is something you’ve achieved that you’re proud of?
All my photography journey, but most of all that I continue to learn. I haven't lost my passion and I know my purpose in life.
If you could tell your past self one thing, what would it be?
Don't change anything in your life, because through your entire story you will achieve all that you purpose.
