Welcome with me our Student Spotlight photographer this month, Carien Veldpape of Forest Vibe Photography! She specializes in family photography as well as senior portraits and pets. Many of you ask about how to do group sessions for sports teams and this volunteer volleyball mom knows just the thing! Although it was a lot of work to get her photography career started, she's up and running and loving every bit of it. Here's some of her story…

What Rebecca Rice products or courses have impacted your photography business?

I bought the contract which has been helpful. When you're just starting out having something like this in place isn't just necessary it's a life saver! Now I'm working on Rebecca's Business and Marketing course. Building a business is a large portion of doing photography successfully. Inside the Business and Marketing course you'll have step by step actions to get off to the right start.

What is your favorite thing about Rebecca Rice Education?

Her knowledge and the way she explains things.

It's a goal of mine (Rebecca speaking here) to make things easy to learn. The photography business is continually growing with new tools, software and equipment. That's why Rebecca Rice Education exists. To help family and portrait photographer's to gain a life of freedom through a thriving photography business!

What is something you've achieved since using Rebecca Rice Products or Education?

I've started using the contract and I'm planning a date to do minis.

If you could encourage other photographers with something you've learned, what would it be?

Don't give up! The first parts of starting a business are overwhelming. Creating a website, registering the business, etc. Always try to find more and new information that can help your business.
