How sweet is the Connell family?! I absolutely loved capturing their Pinkerton Park family portraits. Between their picture perfect (literally) pastel outfits and props and the cutest kids around, their session was a dream come true! 

Pinkerton Park Family Portraits

Pinkerton Park is a beautiful little park near downtown Franklin, Tennessee. There's a gorgeous pedestrian trail and other spots throughout the park that turned out to be the perfect backdrop for the Connell's portraits. When they arrived and I saw the outfits that Anabell had planned, I couldn't stop smiling! She and her husband paired perfectly in their light blue options. And the kids looked SO cute!! I still can't get over that adorable flower crown for her baby girl. She brought along a fun hat for herself and some other props we incorporated into the session.

One thing I love about capturing family sessions is being able to document the relationships between parents and their children. As a mom myself, some of my favorite portraits are the ones where I'm laughing with my babies. Each parent has their own relationship with their child and family portrait sessions are a great chance to capture some of those one-on-one interactions for years to come. Anabell and her family are a perfect example of those moments. I loved watching her play with her little boy and snuggle that sweet baby girl.
