Children are such a precious gift! Do you know what's even better than children? Grandchildren! I had such a fun time with the Dietz grandchildren and their dear grandfather, Paul. The kids were such a treat and loved spending time with their grandpa outside. The bond that they had was so sweet! I could tell from the very start that Paul just adores each of his grandkids. As the first walked up to where we were meeting inside Arbor Hills Nature Preserve, he embraced them with so much excitement, as if it was the first time he was seeing them in ages! This continued for all 3 kiddos with the same excitement and true joy. I couldn't help but smile as I watched the scene unfold! I never knew either of my grandfathers, so that's a bond I never got to experience. These kids are so lucky to have such a sweet and loving grandfather like Paul!

Armed with snacks and bubbles, we were able to capture some adorable moments with these kids and their grandpa. My favorite moment was when Paul pulled out the book, Llama Llama Red Pajama. The kids just lit up as Paul read this sweet story to them. He read with great enthusiasm in the middle of Arbor Hills with no care of onlookers. Moments like this deserved to be captured, and I'm so glad I had the honor of doing so!
