For many photographers spending money on tracking money doesn't sound appealing or work – especially just starting out. There may be some manual labor vs. using a paid program like quickbooks, but that's ok! If you want to see success you have to steward your business well.

There are plenty of softwares that do the work for you, but I my self used a spreadsheet the first year to two years of business. And guess what, I did just fine!
