There's something special about family photos in the fall. The cozy sweaters we bundle into and the little crisp in the air makes for a really enjoyable experience. When Kelly reached out to me about capturing her Harlinsdale Farm family photos this past year, I was so excited. I absolutely love this spot (any time of year!) but it wound up being the perfect spot to update their family's portraits. I got to meet her and her two daughters, Avery and Harper, plus their dad and we had SUCH a great time!

Harlinsdale Farm Family Photos

Harlinsdale Farm is definitely becoming one of my favorite spots for family photos here in Franklin! This farm has a long standing history with raising horses here in Tennessee. Honestly, the barn is probably one of my favorite parts of this property!! The Bonfe family was amazing throughout our entire session, which we spent mostly by the barn. They shared lots of hugs and laughs while I prompted them to enjoy their time together. I especially loved watching Avery and Harper run towards their parents for a hug. It was a good reminder that our babies are never too big for our hugs!

Unfortunately, about a week after our session together, we got the sad news that Avery has been diagnosed with a rare cancer. She's undergoing chemotherapy like a champ, but we wanted her (and her family) to know we're thinking of them.
