Oh my gosh, I am SO excited to be sharing Tatum's McKinney TX cake smash with you today! Tatum and her entire family are some of my favorite people! I've been photographing them all since Parker, Tatum's older sister, was 18 months old. To watch them grow over the years is such a special honor!! When  Tatum's mom reached out about capturing a cake smash for her first birthday, I was super excited to see everyone! We went with an outdoor setup and the whole family came along to celebrate with her.

Tatum was a bit nervous around me when we first started our session. I don't blame her – she's a COVID baby, so she hasn't been with too many people. It's okay!! We all had a lot of fun trying to get her into her cake. Once it came out, she wasn't super interested in it – and that's okay, too! No matter how your session (cake smash or otherwise) goes, we'll have a blast and capture some special images! I did manage to get a few smiles out of Tatum – and when the bathtub came out at the end, she was ALL about it. Definitely a water baby!! And Parker was thrilled that Tatum wasn't too into her cake. More for Parker!
