Little miss Aubrey turned 1 this month!! We had so much fun during her 1st Birthday Session at Sandbrock Ranch! It seems like just yesterday we were shooting her lifestyle newborn session! I've known the Lombardo family for several years and have had the honor of capturing lots of memories along the way. They were one of the first families to trust me with their family photos and have stuck with me as my business has grown. All of my families are so dear to me, but this one holds a special place in my heart!

They say that every child is different, but it's so funny to see it before our eyes! Aubrey's big brother, Levi, LOVED his balloons during his 1st birthday session. In fact, we couldn't keep him away from them!

Now with Aubrey, it was a completely different story…she was crying and crying and we had no idea why!

Until we did…the balloons. Not. Her. Friend.

Not only did she not want them near her, but she didn't even want to look at them at a distance! After getting a little creative to hide the balloons from her, we were able to get some adorable shots! Aubrey's smile just lights up a room! Her joy is infectious and she has the sweetest crinkled nose to show for it. Our session quickly turned into a fun game of peek-a-boo under the park bench, which made for such a fun end to the evening.

Happy birthday, sweet girl! I can't wait to continue to see you grow!
