There's something mysterious and beautiful about maternity sessions. The miracle of life taking place inside mama and capturing it on camera. This month's Behind the Lens feature (my family photography behind the scenes membership) is a Family Maternity Session and we definitely captured that wonderful pregnancy glow! Sometimes working with a toddler is tricky, but I managed to pose the family to bring emphasis to that sweet baby bump and big sister. You'll also notice how the location created a soft backdrop and it did not happen on its own. I was really strategic in how I used composition to showcase the location. I am thrilled with the gallery and getting a full one at that. Sometimes there are only so many poses with 2 adults and 1 toddler!
