I'm so excited for you to all meet this wonderful creative! She's a mama of 2 and got her start in Cosmopolitan Magazine NYC. Not only has she been a graphic designer and art director for over 15 years, she's a legit photography business owner! Like many of us, the typical 9-5 just wasn't cutting it anymore. She made a shift and got things started with her creativity in photography.

She's enrolled in Profitable Minis 2.0 and the Family Posing System Mini Course and I am pleased to introduce you to our Student Spotlight: Staci Oswald of Staci Oswald Creative!

Tell me a little about your photography business!

I’m a portrait photographer, photographing families with small children is my LOVE! I also shoot headshots and corporate events which fulfill me in a different way! Photography has become my dream! I am so deeply motivated to make my business profitable so I can forge my own way and make a life and future for my babies! I’ve been an LLC since August!

What started your photography journey?

I filed for my LLC in August of 2022, as a side business to my agency design job. I found out the Monday after Thanksgiving that I was losing that job and the drive to go full time this year became stronger than ever!

What is your favorite thing about running a photography business?

Getting the privilege of being invited into people’s lives and witnessing the most intimate of their energy and dynamic is the truest honor!

What is something you’ve achieved that you’re proud of?

Filing my LLC and having my first return customer love my work so much that she booked again this year!

If you could tell your past self one thing, what would it be?

Everything will be okay. Keep dreaming, and you’ll get there!
