Fall Mini Sessions Tips

After years of not just shooting Family Fall Mini Sessions, but teaching them I’ve discovered a few things. First off, you don’t need a setup for Fall. These are used most often for family photos – the kind everyone has hanging on their walls! Find a beautiful location and start shooting. I’ve done field sessions, downtown sessions and plenty more. Fall is gorgeous and doesn’t need your help! Another big tip is making sure you advertise your promo shot with an actual family. That might mean you need to do a model call or maybe you’ve done sessions in that location in the past. Great! Use that photo. You can also use my Fall Light & Airy preset to make your photo look more like the appropriate season. But be sure you have real people in your advertisement. This helps other families envision themselves there.
