I’m SO excited to be sharing these Nashville lifestyle newborn portraits with you today! When Pruitt reached out to me about capturing her new baby boy at home, I couldn’t say yes fast enough. There’s just something super special about newborn portraits. And when they’re at home, the very first place your little one is ever going to live, that’s even more special.

These three are just the sweetest! You can tell Pruitt and her husband are over the moon about their new little boy’s arrival. During their lifestyle session, both of them were so excited to be cuddling and spending the extra time loving on him. I love watching new parents during portrait sessions. It’s such a private moment for a new family – and my job is documenting these special moments together. For Pruitt and her boys, we spent most of the session in their room and living room. The three of them could easily cuddle up together and relax.  We even managed to get their sweet pups in a few of the photos!

I’ve said it before but lifestyle sessions are AMAZING to me because you can literally just relax in your own home. I come in, find the spaces with the best light, and let you just be together. We don’t worry about particular posing or force anything – it’s so natural and easy for everyone. With a new baby, I can’t imagine anything better. No matter what kind of session you have with me (or my team), I want it to be as stress-free as possible!
